There is bond between a parent and child which is generally developed by the time the child is approximately seven or eight months old. Before this age, an infant cheerfully or voluntarily goes into arms other than that of his or her parents.
An infant can recognize their parents and differentiate them from others at the age of seventh month.
When the infant is separated from parents at this point, the child will become upset and distressed. So, in order to reduce the consequences of separation, there are a few tips to be followed:
- First provide exposure of little or temporary separation to baby for few hours before giving a longer separation (to baby sitter).
- Adapt the child pleasantly by taking him or her to the baby sitter’s home for visits in order to get baby adjusted to the babysitter and the new environment (if that is the case).
- Make the child carry along with him or her something, which is habitual, like favorite toy, and also provide several toys and play facilities (under good supervision) to avoid boredom, which can cause distress.
- For day and night care, keep frequent contact with child at the time of separation to maintain a close relationship with child.

Oral and injected steroids are medications, which are used to treat infection in the body. When they are taken in oral or injected forms, the course of regulation is referred as systemic. These medicines are widely used to treat variety of diseases, like systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, and many other autoimmune diseases. Systemic steroids are also used for the treatment of asthma attacks, and sometimes, severe allergic rhinitis symptoms.
Many people use systemic steroids for few days and suffer from temporary side effects like increase in appetite, sleeping problems (insomnia), fluctuations in mood and behavior, face becomes red, and short term weight gain as a result of increased water retention. These side effects generally disappear after few days when intake of steroids is stopped.
People suffering with diabetes mellitus can observe an increase in their blood sugar levels, people with high blood pressure will observe rise in their blood pressure readings. People with glaucoma will suffer from increased pressures in their eyes. People with congestive heart failure suffer from retaining of water and this worsens their condition. So, if a person with any chronic disease consuming systemic steroids then their physician must closely monitor.

Barcoding is one of the new generation technologies that are extensively used across many fields. Using barcode technology can stop medication errors. Barcodes try to protect the ‘Five Rights’ of the patients i.e. the right patient gets the right medication in the right dose through the right route at the right time.
Right patient
Barcode scanning of patient’s wristbands with handheld barcode scanners helps in identifying the right patient. The wristbands with barcodes, which are provided at the admission point, are very important in tracking the correct patient during the treatment period in the hospital.
Right medication
Scanning the barcoded label of prescribed medications that has to be given to a patient helps in providing correct treatment. In many circumstances, the ID of the supervising nurse is also scanned in order to test the nurse’s authority to give the medication to the patient. This prevents supply of wrong drugs to a patient.
Right dose
Recording details using barcodes helps in maintaining the proportion in the dose issued to the patient. This prevents further difficulties and side effects by decreasing overdose medications.
Right route
Right route is following right method of prescribed drug usage like pills, syrup, or intravenous (giving liquids directly into the vein) medication. Barcodes usage will help in reducing the unnecessary mistakes that may happen due to improperly shared and coordinated information.
Right time
The time of medication and the time interval is very important in medical administration. In condition where a missed or late medication has to again follow changed schedule of medication, Barcode technology helps in maintaining the consistency by providing the correct information.

Yoga and exercises are different from each other. Both have its own purposes to be performed. The basic differences between yoga and exercise are:
- In the physical exercises, oxygen consumption is increased, but practice of yoga yogic exercises reduces oxygen consumption.
- The respiration rate falls in yogic exercises as they are done slowly. In physical exercises, respiratory system is made to work hard as they are done quickly.
- The temperature falls down in yoga whereas physical exercises increases temperature of body.
- The metabolic rate will be less in practicing yogic exercises whereas it is increased in physical exercises.
- Yoga practitioners require less food than people practicing physical exercise.
- Yogic exercises activates parasympathetic nervous system while physical exercises activates sympathetic nervous system.
- Yogic exercises helps in creating inner awareness, whereas physical exercises do not do.
- Yogic exercises develop flexibility and the ability to adapt to new environment if practiced correctly and they help in developing stamina.
- Yogic exercises help to coordinate the endocrinal secretions and balancing the reactions and develops positive attitude in life.
- Physical exercises tend to develop toxins whereas yogic exercises help in removing them.
- In practicing yogic exercises heart rate and blood pressure decreases but in physical exercise they increase as the heart is made to work hard.
The results of yoga might be slow, but they have long-term benefits compared to exercises.

Beneficial insects are insects, which can be attracted to garden, which kill harmful insects or their larvae. There are many different species for different problems.
- Brachonids, Chalcids and Ichneumon Wasps
These small beneficial insects kill leaf-eating caterpillars. They can be attracted to garden by planting carrots, celery, parsley, caraway, and Queen Anne’s lace, all members of the Umbelliferae family.
- Ladybugs
These common insects swallows aphids, mites, whiteflies, and scale. They can be attracted to garden by planting members of the daisy family (Compositae), tansy, or yarrow.
- Lacewings
Lacewings are intense consumers of aphids, and their larvae eat aphids and other varieties of insect pests. They are generally attracted by “composite” flowers, like yarrow, goldenrod, black-eyed susan’s and asters.
- Hover-flies
Hover-flies are intense consumers of aphids and the larva of hover-flies eats aphids and other insect pests. Like the Lacewings, they are attracted to “composite” flowers, such as yarrow, goldenrod, black-eyed susan’s and asters. Seeds for these flowers are available online, or at most garden centers.
- Praying Mantis
These large insects have hunger for many garden pests. Praying mantis eggs are deployed in the garden where they hatch and rapidly grow to adult size.
- Nematodes
Nematodes are also effective against beetles, cutworms, and root weevil larvae. Nematodes do not cause harm to humans and pets. Nematode eggs are microscopic (very small) and is available in the form of a small sponge which has million of eggs. These are combined with water and applied to the soil, where they hatch and work.
‘Mini – Insectary’ garden can also be established nearby to a small garden plot of flowering plants designed to attract and withhold beneficial insects.

After the induction of affordable mobile phones in the tech market, many changes have occurred in communications of the people. However, the improper usage of this technology has many times proved to be fatal. One of these violations is talking in mobiles while driving.
The Bluetooth technology can at least free our hands from handling the additional responsibility of holding a sensible piece of mobile set while still driving. If you cannot stop yourself from talking in mobiles while driving – you can at least buy a Bluetooth kit.
Some statistics of 2007 and 2008 reveal that nearly 25% of car accidents occur due to talking in mobile phones while driving. But still, 81% of American drivers agree talking on mobiles while driving.
This shows that people cannot stop themselves from this habit. After all, communications are essential part of social-animalism. So we can at least try our best that driving and mobile-talking doesn’t turn out to be that fatal. The Bluetooth technology can help a lot here.

Appropriate temperature, lighting conditions, humidity control, and movement all play a crucial role in proper wine storage. Storage units should simplify these problems and keep wine safe.
Proper temperature for wine storage
Wine storage can be done safely when temperatures are hardly above 70 degrees Fahrenheit of freezing. Wine matures at a constant rate at higher temperatures. Between 45 – 55 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity between 60%-70% is an optimum range in which wine can be stored. There should be constant wine storage temperature because repeated changes in wine storage temperature can damage wine.
Humidity levels should be maintained properly to keep moisture inside the bottle, preventing evaporation through the cork and preventing micro-organisms that grow resulting in aging of wine prematurely which sometimes even damages wine.
Lighting conditions and bottle size play a factor
For proper wine storage, one should not rely completely on colored bottles but also rely on lighting conditions and size of bottle conditions to keep wine safe. Wine should be always stored in dark conditions and should be stored be in a bottle that has certain amount of space.
Limit movement with proper horizontal wine storage units
If the sediment of wine is settled, then wine is ready for consumption. Horizontal wine storage keeps wine in contact with the cork which makes water to evaporate through the cork and deviates from ideal condition.
